  INTERVIEW WITH   INIURIA

What up bro! thanks for your time man

-Thank you for this opportunity.

INIURIA is one of the  sickest Ear raping deathmetal band in existence! Could you explain about your band’s   origin?

-Well, in de mid nineties me and some friends started off as a grind/mince band like Agathocles/Larm/Rot/.... We did that for about 9 years, but in het last few years the tracks became more and more deathmetal instead of grindcore, so we changed the bandname  and bagan to write some serious deathmetal tracks. due several circomstances we weren't able to release more than 2 mcds uptil now, that's an absolute pitty. but now we're up and rolling again and we've almost completed enough new tracks to record a full-lenght album. From the beginning of iniuria until now Roy, Bryan and me are still the Original members, we've devourered some guitarplayers and a vocalist along the way.

When did you form your band and start jamming?
-I think we changed the band's name around 2004, so that's the official year iniuria started. but the band as it  was started in 1995. One of the members of that grindcore-combo is now the vocalist/bassplayer of dutch grindcore band Grindbashers; check em out!

What  bands are the biggest influence in INIURIA?

-That's a difficult question to answer. in Iniuria almost all members have different influences. For me Inhume has been a big influence even as Vader and Sinister. for the other guys that might be Metallica, Dying Fetus, Origin, The Bezerker and many many more.

Do you ever play any covers?

-Well, we used to play covers in the past, for exemple we played Gorefest's 'Tangled in gore' for some time. For now we don't play any covers at all, but that might just be a good idea to pick up again.

What’s the biggest show you guys have played?

-We did some cool shows with bands like Vomitory, Sinister, Grog, Phlebotomized (haha) and so on, the biggest,  that was the Stonehenge gig in Steenwijk in 2011, Stonehenge is a good and nice festival, not too big with 1000 man.

Are there any gigs upcoming?

-We had to set down the level of gigs for a while and work on new tracks for the album. When the album is done, we will start gigging again, new merchandise will be available at that time aswell.

As we know that you’re working with BURNING HATRED,PHLEBOTOMIZED , How do you manage your time for your band rehearses?

-We rehearse once a week with Burning Hatred and once a week with Iniuria. Phlebotomized is a different story because we're 300km apart from eachother, we do most rehearsing at home and come together just a few times to rehearse with the whole band.  But it does cost a lot of time all together, but hey That's what a hobby is for right?

Fuck yeh man.Did you ever write any song for your band?

-Mostly the guitarplayers write the songs and record it with a simple basic drumrythme, after that we start jamming and the actual drumparts will come together, in the weeks after that some parts will change a bit and form a complete track.

Can you recommend some sickest bands for Netherlands?

-just be sure don't only listen to the biggies like Hail of Bullets or Sinister, be sure to check the smaller bands aswell like Abrupt Demise, Grindbashers, Cliteater, Death Squad, Caedere, Sledgehammer nosejob, Massive Assault, Anarchos and many many more

Alright man !lastly any shoutouts ?
